How do you use trees in D5 render

Hi all,

I am working with D5 render for a while, since I find the bushes & flowers are in good quality but I couldn’t find any trees in the library that can achieve this kind of realistic (the images below are from a render). I only need few models of tree which can be used in D5 with high realistic quality. How do you guys do it? Do you import it from another source? I would like to know what is your working method.

Hi @minhha20011

The level of detail may depend on the asset itself, I tried rendering the Residence Lawn Demo File.

Are the images you provided from D5 users? If so:

  • They may have used AI Enhancer to further enhance the appearance of trees.
  • Or you can ask them directly which Tree Asset they have used.

Hi Clov,

I don’t know if they are using D5 render, it’s just a rendering in a competition booklet. I am amazed how realistic these trees are and I wonder if any D5 users have achieved this result (by using external assets or build-in assets). I know there are lots of post render process going on but still.
I’ve tried d5 AI, it’s very good actually, however sometime it will change the type of trees, can be used for background and lawn but not trees that appear as a main object in the rendering.

for good trees close to the camera’s go to the filter. and select high defenition. or type HQ/ HD

Hi @minhha20011

You should try @3d-ontwerp-visualisa suggestion, we do have a set of Trees or vegetation assets that are labeled as “HD” or “High-Definition”. Ofcourse, using this asset would also contribute to the heaviness of the file since it is more detailed so you may use it carefully~

Thank you, I will try them out. I haven’t noticed that there is an option to check for HD objects
