Although a relatively small model, my computer is becoming very slow.
I need to turn layers that I don’t need off to make it faster.
Can I set different configuration of layers, so I can have a work configuration with several layers off and the click on another to have certain layers on?

I am trying to understand what you mean.
You are expecting that you could combine several layers in a group or something to achieve the goal of turning them on and off at the same time, right? Maybe like layer groups in Photoshop, I guess.
I’m sorry that D5 does not currently support managing layers by creating layer groups.
However, I suggest you can search for objects in the same category, selecting them all, and then make them a group so you can control their visibility simultaneously. This will also help you to relieve the stress of your computer.
