Hide in Camera

Newbie question - is there a way to hide an object from the camera view but still see it reflected? I want a view from the trees with them hidden but still reflecting in the windows. I have tried camera clip but this only seems to work from inside the building. any ideas ? thanks

Hello, we do not have this feature yet, but I think the camera clipping plane should work if you can modify it and select a good view?

thanks i will try that.
another question, my revit model has been updated but when i try the reload command the model disappears. how can i reconnect to the file.
‘replace with local’ option does not have a rvt option. thanks

Hello, you could open the model in Revit then sync it to D5 Render again, into this scene. And it will pop up a dialog that asks you whether to replace a model in the scene, you can click Replace to replace the disappearing one.
Another way is that you can use Revit plugin to export the model in .d5a format, then you are able to open or import it directly in D5 Render.

Sorry, Stephen, why recall this message? We appreciate your posing here. :joy:
