I applied a basic grass material with some color corrections, then set up a batch render overnight. However, in the rendered video, the grass material appeared as a glossy SketchUp material.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Does the grass appear normally in your preview window? Can you please send us a screenshot of your preview window and final render?
Also, please check your Cull Distance and LOD Preferences as this may be causing the issue. You may set a lower number for the Cull Distance and see if there are any differences.
