Hi, I have just opened D5 render (Free for now) I ahve used other renderers before. Thing is unlike other programs I have used I can hear my modest graphics card working. I have closed the D5 window down but I can still hear it working. Since I do not want to have it running for reasons of electricity use and other reasons, is it possible to get the program to “Sleep” to give the card a rest and cut down on noise?
Hi mate, it’s normal to hear the noise when you run software requiring GPU. The noise is related to the temperature. you can refer to this blog to see how to lower it, but we don’t suggest changing it. If your computer has sth like performance mode, or quiet mode, you can switch it to quiet mode.
