GPU selection for latest version

Good morning, I have updated the D5 program just now and when opening I have an error message saying my machine is not powerful enough.

I have an Nvidia 1050 and 3060ti. I have used Nvidia control panel to set the 3060ti for D5 manually and also changed the windows graphics settings to be the same, but when opening D5 it defaults to the 1050.

How do I get to force D5 to use the 3060ti instead of the 1050 please?

Thank you

Hi @ben4,

Please try to disable the Nvidia 1050 on your PC, and restart the PC and D5 to see the results.

Yes, I had to remove the card as I needed to get two renders done. Is there no way that D5 can listen to what the system is telling it to use, so that restarts or the removal of a card is needed? The 1050 only powers extra monitors, it is not used for anything more. So to spend around £150 to buy a 1600 as min spec for extra monitors seems excessive.

Its a shame that D5 cannot use the NVidia settings that set the card to be used.

Anyway, thank you for your response, yes I did end up disabling and restarting before a full removal.
