I attach the video on this linkhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uVKgVfsV2weW6YbhDtzLLWJ14WGGsZU_?usp=sharing

hi,
may i know , u render mp4 video or sequence render . i think its direct mp4 output.
so here is my conclusion, Shadow is prominent in your scene. so its always better to go for sequence render.
which maintain all reflection and shadow at its best.
try sequence render and check quality.
let me know improvement.
thanks

Hi @lutfhifauzan72

  • Have you tried rendering it in 2k?
  • Can we collect your files for testing? You may generate a link containing it then send it to me privately.

Hi @Clov

I am having this same issue since upgrading to 3.1, across multiple projects both old and new files created in 3.1. I have tried a range of things separately to try get an improved result.

Super resolution off, rendering as a sequence, path tracing off, different resolutions and frame rates. I have tested geo and sky vs HDRI, various settings on and off such as AO and fog but nothing is working.

Please see attached draft clip example. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DrwTXzgtnzApMo1avpHw5sZXnAcRM1JW/view?usp=drive_link

I have some extremely important flythroughs to do and this quality change from 3.0 is not ideal and will impact the final result. Want to use new features so dont want to have to role back to 3.0 if I can avoid. Please can you assist in getting to the bottom of this problem. I will zip the file and send through on the 10th.

Thanks in advance

Hi @bim @lutfhifauzan72

Our team has conducted a preliminary investigation and determined that the issue is likely related to the recent DLSS 4.5 upgrade.

As a troubleshooting step, could you please try replacing the current DLSS DLL with the DLL from D5 Render 3.0 and check whether the issue persists?

File: Unique Download Link | WeTransfer

  1. Extract the provided compressed file.
  2. Locate the two DLL files inside the extracted folder.
  3. Navigate to the following D5 Render installation directory:

D5 Render\d5package\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

  1. Replace the existing DLL files in this folder with the two DLL files from the compressed package.
  2. Restart D5 Render and check whether the issue persists.

Please make sure D5 Render is completely closed before replacing the files.

Hi Clov!

That has done the trick! No issues this time round.

Thank you very much!
