Focal length changing

Hello,
On a project the program changed my focal length in all my scenes. The saved scenes thumbnails still show the correct view but not the actual render. This is a huge problem as I have up to 60 renders for each project. When I took it into Photoshop for Post Processing is when I noticed. I do many re-renders for clients and can’t figure out why it did this. I did change monitors but even when back to original monitor with all the same settings and its still off with the view “zoomed out” Please help as I love D5 but I can’t re-post process all my renders on each project.
Thanks

Hi @indiowhite,

Just to confirm, did you choose ‘Save Separately’ when changing monitors of each scene?

Hi, No I am not familiar with that feature.

fyi, All the initial scenes were setup with the same monitor

Hi, is it all of the rendered images or some of them with incorrect ‘focal length’? Are the renderings all static frames with the same resolution? Does the lens turn on two-point perspective? Have you encountered anything similar when rendering other scene files?
Please also tell me the version of your D5 Render.

I just re-rendered 7 images for my project and they were all off. I haven’t check all of them in the project. The images are static and all set to 2 point perspective. Sometimes when I render a project with many scenes (like 20) it will have 1 or 2 that was a little off but thats rare. It may not be the focal length that is just my assumption as it looks just pulled back from the original

Thanks for your clarification. Please also tell me the version of D5 Render you are using.
If it’s convenient, can you send any one of these scene file with the issue (The entire folder where the .drs file is located) to support@d5techs.com, and please describe the problem, I will check it for you.

I am using version 2.5.2.0332

where is the .drs folder located?

I’ll send a shared folder with the d5 model

I have to go now but I will send link to files to the email tomorrow. Thanks

Thanks! That’s alright. Just return to the parent folder of the drs file, compress it, and send it to our e-mail box.
