I noticed that when there is a folder which has a comma in the name, D5 won’t remember the last file(s) I opened. Example: “d:\work\projectXYZ\clientname, surname” D5 won’t show the last opened projects from this folder. I hope you can fix this in the next release. Thanks.
The same problem I’m experiencing with the asset library. Items won’t show up in correct chronological order anymore. I’m not sure if this is comma related, since I didn’t change the path of the D5 library. I have to put the in subfolders in order to find the recent items I created.
Thanks for your feedback, we’ll look into this issue.
Is it convenient to ask the installation path of D5, does it contain special characters?
The path is the standard D5 installation path, it does not contain special characters: “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\D5 Render\d5_launcher.exe”
Didn’t change anything there. I think the program should be able to handle commas properly inside a folder name
Hi mate, we did some tests but we could not reproduce the issue you encountered. (We tried to add commas in the folder name or file path, but they can be recorded by the Recent list with no problem).
Could you let me know what language you use on that computer? Also, if possible, can we schedule a time for remote access troubleshooting?
