Exporting UE5 scene (including foliage & placed assets) to D5 Render

Hello,

I’m looking for a workflow to export a scene from Unreal Engine 5 to D5 Render.

What I would like to export:

  • Trees placed using the Foliage tool
  • Placed assets such as people, furniture, and props

Requirements:

  • I would like to preserve materials as much as possible.
  • It is acceptable to pass through Rhino or another intermediate format if necessary.

Ideally, I would like to use Datasmith for this workflow. However, I cannot find a way to export Datasmith data directly from UE5.

Is there a recommended workflow to transfer foliage instances and placed assets efficiently?

Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
