Just wondering if anyone has any issues with animating different scenes with different times of day. i have organized my scenes so that the best sun comes into the building depending on the time of year however if i have two scenes with two months apart i get a crazy daynight cycle flicker between the two views. Is there any way to toggle a no transition [1 frame] between two views in the clip?
Hi @kheng
I apologize for the inconvenience. Is this evident on the final render? Can you send us a screen-recording?
This is a transition between two enviromental times about 2 months apart and i am guessing this is what is causing the flickering of the sun between the two scenes. It is visible in the preview when playing the animation in D5 as well as the rendered animation.
Hi @kheng
I just saw the video recording that you have provided. Does this exact issue occur in other files as well, or is it only prevalent in this specific file?
Additionally, please try the following:
- Try to disable FPS Booster or Super Resolution if it resolves the issue.
- Update your Graphics Card Driver to 572.47 and see if there are any visual differences.
Please let me know if these suggestions helped.
Hi, i have disabled super resolution and FPS booster but it still shows the time change between the two month difference between frames. I am unable to update graphic card driver as there is some internal issue with windows but IT is contacting NVIDIA to remedy the situation.
As you can see from this recording , due to the two scenes having different time of the months, the environment sun flicks when changing between months
Hi @kheng
Can you send us your D5 Render file? Please send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled ‘Clov-Forum Environmental Flickering when animating time of year’, please also zip the file before placing it in a shared storage or link.
