To switch devices, unbind the current device in MySpace first. what should i do.
Hi @12711.2020
I would like to clarify that our Educational license operates as a “fixed-seat” license, as indicated on our official website. This means that:
- Your educational account is restricted to a specific computer, and switching devices is not allowed.
- Removal or replacement of hardware, such as an HDD or SSD, or even formatting your device, will result in this error prompt.
- Even a Windows update can trigger this error prompt, so it’s best to avoid it during the span of your educational license.
However, users can unbind devices on their own through MySpace. After unbinding, the account will automatically revert to the Community version, and users will need to reapply through the client. Please be aware that unbinding is permitted only once per calendar year, so please proceed with caution.
