EDU License and new device

I am reaching out because I have an educational license for D5 Render that is currently bound to a computer I no longer have access to, as I recently had to replace my machine. Due to this, I am unable to activate or use my license on my new device.

I kindly ask if it would be possible to reset or transfer the license to my new computer and remove it from the old one.

I am a project manager student, and together with my team in our postgraduate program, we are integrating D5 Render into our project management workflow. We are currently working on an ongoing project in which we have been using D5 Render since the very beginning, and it would be quite difficult for us to continue without access to the software due to the license being locked to the previous machine.

Please note that the Edu License is a fixed-seat license, which means it is bound to the device where it was first activated. For data security reasons, we are unable to unbind or transfer it to another device.

You may continue using it on your current device until it expires. Once your Edu License has expired, you may reapply for a new one on your new device, provided that you still meet the eligibility requirements. Thank you for understanding :blush:
