When Scenes are duplicated, the camera location is not exactly same. Every single time. This is quite maddening.
i have the exactly same problem. When i wanna do a day camera and night camera, the duplicated camera always shifts vertically… and another problem is, sometimes when opening a scene again, tha fog value is stronger for no reason at all
Hi there,
Sorry that this is happening to you. I am here to help!
May i know what D5 Version you are currently using?
Does this happen to multiple projects or for only a single project?
Would it be okay for you to attach screenshots describing the problem?
Could you please send me the Scene File at support@d5techs.com or you may DM me. In order for me to further investigate this problem.
Cheers,
Aryan
I’ve searched the forum more, and there are more people complaining about the issue. You are asking for model files, are you not experiencing the same problem? Your duplicated scenes always have the exact same camera position?
Hi there,
Thanks for sending this information. I have tried to recreate this on my end on different projects and i could not recreate this issue thus requesting for your project file.
But,
We are keeping an eye on this, If you could send us your D5 Version and or send us your scene file it would help a lot.
I will be also following this up to the team.
We are doing our best to further improve your experience while using D5 render.
Thank you,
Aryan
I’d like to request a simpler scene duplication feature. Currently, duplicating a scene requires multiple steps and disrupts the camera, especially in two-point perspective.
Please add a right-click “Duplicate” option to create an exact copy, including camera settings, to streamline design work and prevent camera shifts.
Hi there, I apologize for the incovenience. Can you perhaps provide us with the necessary steps to replicate the Scene Duplication feature? We can’t seem to notice or see any camera disruption on our end. Nevertheless, we thank you for your insights and suggestion regarding this matter.
im still having this problem whe sending a image to the batch render, the camera shift vertically sometimes, on 2.8 and 2.9 as well
Hi @NOG_the_DOG , I apologize for the inconvenience. Are there any necessary steps that we should follow to replicate this issue? If so, it would be best to provide us so we can assess this further. Thank you.
hi @clovisbolasco14 , i just add the scene to the batch render and sometimes the rendered image is shifted vertically… it happens when simply duplicating a image too
Hi @NOG_the_DOG
The numerical value of the resolution changes when a certain scene is duplicated. Initially, I believed that this issue would be immediately noticeable on the screen. We have reported this issue and are working on a fix. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
thank you!
good that the bug has been officially recognized. Hope it gets fixed soon.
