Nope, it doesn’t need rtx, it works on rx6000 gpus, could probably work with 7000 too

Hi mate, AMD 7000 series can run D5 with no problem. But considering the driver and other optimization, we found that more users prefer Nvidia GPU this time.

If Nvidia graphics card works better than AMD graphics card, Is there any difference if CPU is AMD but graphics card is Nvidia? for example, something like this?
