DLSS not working?

Hello! Help?
I’ve just installed D5 and tried to play with it for a bit. I livesynced a scene from Archicad and started to tweak the effects and render a scene or two but it moves rather slow…
I tried adding some particles and it completely froze… I tried to look for some initial setup i should’ve done or how to adjust the settings and I didn’t find much apart from something DLSS for Nvidia that does not work either.
Any ideas of how should I optimize my laptop?

Hi @Zaraf

I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. I have few questions regarding this issue that you are experiencing:

  • Does this issue occur in all of your files? have you tried opening a Demo Scene File?

  • Did you enable FPS Booster for Complex Geometry?

  • Is the file that you were working on quite big?

  • Can you send us your VRAM and Memory Speed info?

  • We do have a similar specification and this is what it looks like on my NVIDIA App - Please ensure that Power Management Mode is set to Maximum Performance

I cannot compare to other files, as i said i’m just getting started to D5 render after some recommendations.
Yes, i did enable FPS Booster.
The scene is moderate, i’d say. The buildings around have mininum detail, they are just for urban context scale. Only one building has a bit more detail.

I’m just worried that in the near future, when i will add my design for the project, the scene will be unbearably slow. Is there any way to optimize the scene in general?
