Dlss 4 rtx 4090

Hi Team - would like to know if DLLS 4 will be in the new 2.10 release and will my RTX 4090 be able benefit from it. Or is DLSS 4 only reserved for the new 50 series cards?

Hi @WB5

The new DLSS 4 will only be exclusive for the RTX 5000 Series. And the 4000 Series also has DLSS and Frame Generation in D5, but it’s not DLSS 4.0

Thank you~

Thank you for clarifying. Can you be able to compare the difference between performance with the 4090 and 5080/90 in D5.

Hi,I assumed it will be added to rtx 4090 cards. Will this be a future update?

Thank you so much for this LumionUser. How complex is the ‘‘Villa with Pool’’ model that you base the results on? So far it looks like 5090 is 2x faster then my 4090.

Notice you name indicate that you use Lumion. I use to work on Lumion. However I moved to D5. Also using Vray.

@LumionUser And what about the average FPS rate, how was it with the upgrade? Do you have that information?

It’s a demo project like the ones displayed on the D5 home screen.
It’s not a very complex project, but the gain is just as good on my heavier projects in terms of assets and polygon.

Great thank you.

teşekkürler!

Hi there @gerbrandts

I think this image would explain DLSS 4.0 and how it works with our RTX GPU Series:

Thank you.So I see dlss4 is not yet implemented on v2.10.When will this be added?

  • DLSS 4 limitations:

DLSS 4 is a newer feature from NVIDIA that is not yet integrated into most third-party applications, including D5 Render.

  • DLSS compatibility:

While an RTX 4090 can utilize DLSS features within D5 Render, it will likely be using the latest version available in the software, which is likely DLSS 3.

Hi @gerbrandts

The new 2.10 update has already incorporated DLSS 4, it was implemented in the 2.10 Beta Version and was even used by NVIDIA in their official 5000 Series launch. Are you using the new 5000 series GPU?

Based on the information on this image, the difference between the 4000 Series vs 5000 Series when it comes to DLSS 4 is the DLSS Multi Frame Generation option.
