Good day to you all,
This is the first time I’ve had this display problem on a model from sketchup, which is quite large.
I get display errors, these artefacs that oscillate. And it shows up in the rendering.
I seem to remember that it may be due to the model origin and the geometry being too far apart.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Julien, apologies for the inconvenience. Please was the landscape model generated with a plugin in Sketchup? Have you tried reversing the faces in Sketchup to avoid any display error in D5 Render?
thanks,
the model is synch with the usual plugin and faces are ok
Hi Julien, I’ll suggest moving the geometry closer to the origin in D5 Render because the model being too far from the origin in D5 might cause display errors. If the error is still not resolved, kindly share the files with us through email at [support@d5techs.com] (mailto:support@d5techs.com) so we can test it on our end. You can use the tag 'Forum- Anthony) in the email. We’re really sorry about this.
i’m affraid the geometry is not so far from origin
as you can see.
May be try something else before send the files to you ?
but I wille try to move it a bit
I’ve just sent you the sketchup file
Hi Julien, unfortunately we also experienced similar display errors on our end. Please we’ll like to know which plugin was used to generate the landscape model to enable us conduct further testing on our end.
it’s fixed, I’ve exploded the group containing this problematic geometry and it’s back to normal.
I’ve been able to recreate the group again and it’s holding up well.
Great! I’m glad you were able to resolve the issue.
