I feel stupid for asking this, but as I move slowly to D5 from another software I’m finding little things are catching me out. Please can you tell me where I can find displacement/height map options as I can only see (in descending order) Normal, Specular, Roughness, Metallic, AO - in screenshots from others they have “Height” below AO but I don’t. I tried a batch import of maps but the displacement didn’t appear.
Now I know for a fact that I must be missing something extremely basic here, so please try to resist the urge to laugh at me, but you can if really want to
when you select a material you can select the type of material that you need. Transparant, custom etc. is on top of the parameters. when you select the type of materials you can also select displacement. after that selection in the list. the parameter height with be shown.
Thank you. I don’t feel as silly now because that really isn’t an obvious location for it - it should be permanently visible along with the other Map settings.
