Dark rooms shows glittery sparkles

Hello,

I am wondering if someone can explain to me when working in low light environments like a bar etc. the model flickers and sparkles on reflective object insaneley, however when i render a still or video the flicker goes away and project it correctly? I was more curious than anything i just feel like i should be able to get the same reflections and true show of the materials as i am working on the project.

Hi there,

The preview window or viewport prioritizes speed and optimization. These optimizations can lead to visual artifacts, especially in challenging lighting scenarios. As for the final render, it focuses on the accuracy and quality of the rendered image hence, it can take much longer to render each frame, allowing for more precise calculations.

Additionally, have you tried enabling or disabling Super Resolution and D5 FPS Booster? You may try to turn them on/off and see if there are any improvements in the preview window. Thank you.
Super Resolution and FPS Booster

Thank you for the speedy reply, when i am on the project again i will check these settings and follow up to see if this helped.

Clovis apologies for the late reply, but i tried this and it didnt really change much still had sparkles on materials. I would like to assume D5 does this to let you know that the materials are reflecting something. Either way the work around I used was just to create a still or video and it was gone I also just shut off auto exposure and set it to a set decimal and it seemed to help more.

Thank you.

Hi @maurinolopez

Thanks for the update~ As mentioned, the preview window or viewport prioritizes speed and optimization. These optimizations can lead to visual artifacts, especially in challenging lighting scenarios. As for the final render, it focuses on the accuracy and quality of the rendered image hence, it can take much longer to render each frame, allowing for more precise calculations.

As long as these “glittery sparkles” are not evident on the final render, they should be okay.
