I’ve been testing the new d5works.com. The library is a great addition to the D5 database. However, I find it disappointing that downloads are limited to seven 3D models per day. This limit should be removed.
Each material and object has a unique ID. However, if you search for a model’s ID, it’s no longer found. Something’s wrong here, too.
Objects should be available as fbx in addition to the native file format.
Free product downloads are currently limited to a maximum of 10 products within a 24-hour period. However, there are no restrictions on downloading paid products.
At this time, directly searching for product codes in the search bar is not supported. As an alternative, you can use the following format to access the product details page directly: https://d5works.com/product/[Code Number].
We’ve forwarded all your suggestions to the product team and appreciate your valuable feedback. Thank you!
Thank you for your reply.
I would also like to purchase some objects. However, there is no information about which file types are included in the purchase. For example, just “.MAX” is not sufficient. Sometimes the “MAX” files also include exchange formats such as 3ds, fbx, or obj.
In principle, I believe that all offered data should always be saved in the exchange formats.
Thank you for your feedback. Product team has noted this issue. Currently, all assets from D5 library are displayed in Works and can be downloaded & used in D5 client.
Please include the 3d models in other exchange formats (FBX) not everyone likes to have a vray license running. Corona files do not work with D5.
Also would be nice if it shows which files you have downloaded by a checkmark or something.
Good job.
