Hi, I have a project that was previously synced in D5. After finishing it, I didn’t open it again until now. I’ve added a few things to my SketchUp (SKP) file and tried syncing it again, but D5 resets everything—like textures—except for the furniture I originally added in D5.
Before syncing, I was also prompted with a message asking if I wanted to sync my D5 file to the current model. Now, the new additions in my SKP file seem to be causing bugs and won’t sync properly with the D5 file.
If you’re using Cloud Storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) to store your 3d Model and D5 Render File, please download them locally first; this kind of workflow has yet to be optimized.
Did you perhaps rename the file?
Or perhaps you changed the file’s location?
I suggest opening your D5 File first, then your 3d Mode,l then activating Livesync if you’re trying to work with the project again.
hello @Clov , thanks for this. I’ve found the culprit. Idk why but i’ve beed using the same skp file but for some unknown reason, the file name was replaced. Tried to replace the old skp on d5 and it works now!
