After a long time, there are still no updates on syncing views on D5 and SU with tags applied.
This is really frustrating for us to change all the views both on SU and D5.
The real issue is happening when rendering. The queue rendering is useless when D5 cannot read the tags on vies. I typically work on multiple options in SU to show different designs. A scenario is shared below:
I have 3 options and 2 views for each
renderinga total of 6 images is going like this:
Option A:
view 1: render
view 2: get out of the image/render, go to SU and change the scene so the “plant blocking the camera gets hidden” (which is a main issue, if D5 could read the tags on/off from a scene which is synchronized with SU scenes, it would not be an issue)
Option B:
view 1: get out of the image/render, go to SU and change the scene so the option changes and is visible (same as view two above)
View 2: again, all of what should be done on View 2 above !!
Option C:
view 1: same as above!!
view 2 same as above !!
You see? I have to do 6 renders one by one, and every time go back tothe main page and sync SU with the D5 views
In a real case, I had to stay up all night to render 6 shots, each of which took 1.5 hours,
If the scene was synced with SU, I could have rested and gotten my renders early morning !!
This is a real “must” for D5, andthere have been a couple of updates so far without it getting solved.
PLEASE prioritize this.
