D5 Render won’t launch after clean Windows install – RTX 5070, 32GB RAM

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble getting D5 Render to launch after doing a clean installation of Windows. Everything is freshly installed, including the latest version of D5 and my GPU drivers.

When I try to open D5 Render, nothing happens—no error message, no loading screen, just nothing. I’ve already made sure my graphics drivers are fully updated through NVIDIA’s website.

Here are my system specs:

  • Device Name: DESKTOP-GT1UDOJ
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core @ 3.60 GHz
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • Storage: 500GB SSD (Samsung 970 EVO)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (12 GB)
  • System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
  • Windows Version: Clean install, fully updated

I know my hardware should be more than capable of running D5, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong here. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

Which version of D5 Render did you install? Is it 2.11?

  • Please try to check in your Tray Icons if the launcher is open, since by default Minimize to Tray is enabled.

  • You may also run the program as an administrator.
