Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing a serious issue with D5 Render and would appreciate any help in identifying the cause.
Until about a week ago, D5 Render was working perfectly on my PC. I was able to open the software and render my architectural visualization projects without any issues. However, recently, whenever I try to launch D5 Render, my entire PC suddenly shuts down. There is no error message, BSOD, or warning ; the system simply powers off.
This happens every single time I try to open D5 Render , making the software completely unusable.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Performed a clean installation of the GPU driver.
- Tested my PC with other rendering software, particularly Lumion, which continues to work perfectly without any crashes.
- Verified that my PC works normally during other tasks.
Since the issue started suddenly and D5 Render was working fine just a week ago, I’m struggling to determine whether this is related to a recent D5 update, a driver conflict, or something else.
#My PC Specifications
- Processor: Intel Core i7-12700 (12th Gen)
- GPU: PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 16GB
- RAM:** 64GB DDR4
- PSU:** Corsair RM850e, 850W, 80+ Gold, Fully Modular
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B660M AORUS PRO AX DDR4
I would appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting steps. Since Lumion works perfectly on the same PC, I’m particularly interested in understanding why launching D5 Render causes a complete system shutdown.
Thank you in advance for your help!
