D5 Pro Asset Scaling Issue- Assets lightning mistake

Hi Team of D5, I love to rendering with this tool :slight_smile:
Now I need your Indoor Lamps (Downlights) but they are so small, that I dont find them when i take them in my plan. I didn´t find in report here - so I do this.

I tried 15 downlight and rail lights. All the same problem.

The light is nearly 4x30x7mm - I think this must be 40x300x70.
I only see the light point.

Hope fix this nearly time to have further fun :slight_smile:

Does this occur only to this specific file? I tried inserting the same Light Asset on an empty file, its default size is at 149 x 1000 x 326

  • Can you perhaps check the scale of your model in your 3d Modelling software and see if the units and the corresponding measurements have the same scale?

HI, this problem occur only yesterday. Today its all fine - in all files (also new).
I didnt change the scale. By the way - I dont know where I can do this.

While I drawing, all the other models where scaled 1:1 (lamps / character / other decoration)

If this occur again I will come back with more information here :slight_smile:

Alright, thanks for your update.

What I meant by the change of scale is changing it from your 3d Modelling software. Anyway, if it occurs again please let us know.

Yesterday I had the same problem.

Import my own SKP Files to the Local Assets. All went good.

When I move in the room (same file) and take the asset - it was too smal.
All of the 25 Assets - same.

So I start my machine again. After then - all where fine.

Does it happen consistently? If so, please send us a sample model so we can test it on our end, then generate a log file. You may send it to me directly here in forum messages.

Hi, no not consistently. Sometimes. I dont know why this happens sometimes. :frowning:

Maybe in large SKP files with many layers, details. I will send you the file and Log-ZIP

Hi @hks

Can you confirm if this is the same process that you did:

  • Activated Livesync on your SKP Model
  • After Activating the livesync, model was added in your local library

  • Placing the model, will have it very small. This is the result on my end. But after doing the same process again, the model size will appear normal.

Yes, Livesync is in use on skp.
I opened D5 from SKP Plugin.

After I saved D5 File local and opened again, I have no problems.
