I’m running archicad 28.3.0 and installed the latest version of the livesync plugin - 1.2.0.0002, and have updated D5 to 2.11.1. The addon menu in archicad shows that D5 is “The file is an outdated Add-On that cannot be used with this Archicad version.”. Please help
Hi @Clayton
Sorry for the inconvenience. The latest LiveSync plugin actually supports Archicad 21–29, so Archicad 28 should work fine.
Could you let me know where the plugin was installed on your system? Did you restart Archicad or your computer after installing the plugin?
Also, did you download it from the official D5 website or install it through the D5 Launcher? If you can send a screenshot of the exact pop-up in Archicad, that would help a lot. Thanks!
It’s installed on my D drive, same as archicad and the rest of the D5 software. I just repaired archicad and attempted to install livesync before launching archicad as I saw somewhere people had issues installing after launching. I get this pop up when opening any file
I both downloaded it through the site and through the launcher, neither have worked. I have restarted both archicad and my computer - trying all combination of uninstall/restart/install/open that I can.
Update: repairing archicad back to 28, then installing 28.3, then installing livesync without opening Archicad, then opening archicad and ticking D5 in the addon manager, and letting it reload finally worked.
