D5 Museum of Materials and Learning

I hope this is the right place to post this/these questions. Thank you in advance. I was watching a tutorial online that mentioned the Museum of Materials scene. Would someone kindly point me in the right direction I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
In addition, I am looking for a detailed source for learning the D5 rendering process. I saw a gentleman on YouTube whose channel’s name is upstairs. He will be offering a class or course. Until that time, what would the general recommendation be with regard to becoming proficient with D5 render?

Thanks

Hi j.hogan, I can give you some sites where you can download textures that I often use, including those to compose. But I usually do it this way, I find the texture via Google and I simply download it, then I insert it into the project and then I synchronize with D5. I can change it, or I use IA D5 which transforms me and gives me the other images including Normal, roughness and OA etc… Then it gives you the possibility of transforming it into HD with sharper, not only that, but it gives you the possibility of remove defects at the edges of the image.
Now I’ll give you some sites where you can download the materials, even a tutorial which is in Spanish, but with the translator for your language you will understand, it’s quite intuitive, it explains the new features of 2.7, then if you want more details there is the site D5.
https://www.textures.com/library

here you can find both textures but also HDRI and objects

Instead, you build this yourself
Then the tutorial site and YouTube

this instead is D5

Sorry for the English, good job :slightly_smiling_face:

I found the “Musuem of Materials” scene through the app. I was looking just through the web and NOT through the app interface.

Thank you for the resources and the quick response.

John
