Hello D5 Render Support Team and Community,
I am having a persistent problem with LiveSync between Rhino 8 and D5 Render, and I would really appreciate your help in resolving it.
Whenever I try to connect Rhino 8 to D5 Render using the LiveSync plugin, the connection fails and I receive the following error message:
“The current version of D5 Render does not support current version of Rhino Sync Plugin, please upgrade to version 2.7 and above.”
The problem is that I have already checked the installed versions multiple times, and as far as I can confirm, everything is up to date. I have also confirmed that the D5 LiveSync plugin is enabled in Rhino. Despite this, the same error keeps appearing, and I still cannot establish a connection between Rhino and D5 Render.
I have already tried reinstalling D5 Render and the Rhino LiveSync plugin. I also checked the installation folders and verified the version information again after reinstalling. Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
I am especially confused because the error message suggests that my software or plugin version is outdated, even though I have already updated and reinstalled both programs. I am wondering whether there might be an installation issue, a compatibility problem between the installed components, or something wrong with the local environment that is preventing LiveSync from recognizing the correct versions.
I have also looked into the installation logs and tried to investigate the problem on my own, but I have not been able to identify the cause. I would be grateful if someone from the D5 technical support team could review my situation and help me determine what is actually causing this version mismatch error.
If necessary, I can provide my D5 Render logs, Rhino dump files, screenshots of the installed versions, and any other information that might help with troubleshooting. Please let me know which files or diagnostic information you need and where I should upload them.
