D5 keeps on logging me out

I log in.

I start rendering.

Only to realise I’ve been logged out after the rendering is completed.

This has been happening throughout the day.

Hi @patricia.d

There are multiple reasons as to why you’re getting logged out.

  • A D5 account only allows one active session at a time. If your account is logged in on another device, you will be automatically logged out when the session is verified during rendering
    Suggestion:
    – Ensure your account is not being used on other devices. You can view and manage logged-in devices in MySpace

  • D5 verifies account permissions and accesses online assets before and during rendering. Major Network fluctuations can interrupt this verification process, triggering automatic logout
    Suggestion:
    – Ensure a stable internet connection during rendering. The 2.10 version has optimized this issue, allowing minor internet fluctuations.
    – Try to connect to another network and see if the issue persists.

  • Mismatch between launcher CID and render CID, or empty/ corrupted cid.dat file can cause identity verification failure, leading to logout
    Suggestion:
    – Navigate to %localappdata%\d5_launcher directory, delete the cid.dat file, then restart D5 and log in again

  • Aware of this and 100% sure I’m only using it one device at a time.

  • There seems to be no issues with our internet connection. We tried it out locally here in PH and remotely in AU and it happens in both cases.

  • Tried this suggestion. Deleted cid.dat, restarted and logged back in. Still the same issue today.

Is it possible that there are issues on D5’s end? If so, do you know if a fix is expected soon? Our workflow has been significantly affected by this issue.

Currently, there are no maintenance issues or global server disruptions. This case may be specific to your account, which is unusual.
