D5 keeps logging me out

Hi D5-Team,

D5 has always worked correctly. Since today, I’ve been having serious problems with the license. I keep getting logged out and can’t access the Pro content. Loading from the library takes significantly longer, and inserting my own FBX into the scene after importing also takes a very long time. Are there server issues on D5’s side? I’ve restarted my router. I haven’t changed anything about my internet connection. Everything’s working fine. Only D5 seems to be having issues.

Please help. I’m in the middle of the project.

My D5 Version is the 2.10.1.0579

Hi @Albareus

The only server issue that was encountered last weekend was regarding the AI Tool. Are you still experiencing this problem? This only occurred yesterday, right?

Let me know. Thank you.

Hi @Clov ,

tnx, it was Saturday and Sunday at home. Will check it today in the office.

regards

I think my internet provider is changing IP addresses. I’ve set a static IP address on my router. It seems to be working for now.
That might be a solution to the problem.

ah… It worked for a while. Now it doesn’t. I keep getting logged out. I have no idea what could be causing this. :frowning:

Hi @Albareus

I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Does it only occur randomly?
  • It might be best to try to whitelist our IPs and domains. Were you able to do that before?
  • Another suggestion is to try to flush your DNS Cache. Open Command Prompt as administrator and type ipconfig /flushdns then press Enter.

Let me know, thanks.

Thanks for your tips. I’ll try it out at home. However, I think this might be the same problem as the other users have already reported. You wrote back then that version 2.10 would be improved here. However, it seems that’s not the case. I have version 2.10 and I keep getting logged out of the current project again and again.

Hi @Albareus

Indeed, we did improve this in the recent 2.10 update. But I would like to emphasize that this feature addresses normal short-term network fluctuations. Therefore, normal short-term network fluctuations should no longer result in watermark issues for users.

Otherwise, these may not be momentary network fluctuations, or your D5 Account was logged in on a different device if watermark assets are appearing completely after the render.

  • Anyway, were you able to do the cmd prompt that I mentioned previously? Let me know if this has addressed the issue otherwise, I may need to collect your log file and try our network tool inorder to troubleshoot this issue further.

Thank you.

Hi @Clov

Thanks for your answer. I work on two PCs: one at the office and one at home. Up until now, I’ve only ever closed D5 on one PC. On the other, I had to log in again. Yesterday, I logged out at the office before closing the program. It worked. I wasn’t logged out at home last night. Maybe that’s the solution. I’ll try the cmd prompt this evening as well. I’ll get back to you.
Thank You and regards

Hi @Clov

I cleared the IP cache (as you suggested) and logged out of the office computer. I’m not sure if that was the solution, but it seems to be working now. Thank you for your help.

Hi @Albareus

Thanks for the update, really appreciate it.

Hi,

I’m facing the same problem. It happened just today with all 4 licenses in the office.

Is there any solution? I tried to reinstall, but the same problem came

Hi @HamdanStudio30

There were no server issues on our end, which may have caused the issue that you are experiencing. Please check your network connection if it is stable, since disconnecting from the internet will log you out of your account.

If this issue persists you can try:

  • Connect to another network or Restart your modem
  • Use VPN just to test if it is more stable
  • Try flushing your DNS Cache. Open Command Prompt as administrator and type ipconfig /flushdns then press Enter.
