D5 corrupted file

Hello. I am a student who has been using D5 since last year.

I’m trying to open a D5 file but it says it’s corrupted and won’t open. Is there a way to open it? I’ve checked the folder and there don’t seem to be any missing files or folders.

Thank you very much.

Hi @wonjikim0515

Did you perhaps move this D5 Folder to a different location? Or rename it? When moving from another file path/location, I do suggest zipping them first just to be sure.

Can you open your file’s version history? If so, you may proceed to open it and save it as usual then that will be your main file.
version history

Hi I tired open the view history version the file still corrupted any other solution

Hi @211922

Any prior action as to why your file was corrupted? Perhaps:

  • Did you change the file format of the .bak file to .drs?
  • Transfer the .drs file alone to another location?
