I want to ask about why my D5 render can’t open or enter the main UI and after that it will force close or the screen freezes and I have to restart my computer.
I’ve updated the driver and the recommended specs have been met, so can you help me?
here the log files and screenshoot zziplog.zip (1.0 MB)
Sorry that this is happening to you. I will try my best to help you solve your problem.
Devices with Intel Core i9-13900K and i9-14900K processors running D5 and other DX12 software may experience flashbacks, crashes, 99% loading freeze, and pop-up messages indicating “Some DLL files in the system are missing” or “Program startup failed”. Please try to update the BIOS to the latest version first, if it is still abnormal, please disable the CPU overclocking and Turbo Boost/restore them to the default. If you have done the steps above,
May I know which Version of Windows you are using?
Have you tried Disabling third party softwares (Malware/Firewall/Antivirus/Encryption software)?
Have you tried disabling “Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling”?
Have you tried running the Software as Administrator?
Thank you for the advice, let me answer the 4 questions above.
Yes, I’m using Windows 11 Pro.
yes, Iam not using any antivirus software except Windows Defender still active.
Yes, the GPU is running by default.
Yes, still cannot open the software and enter the main UI. always force close or screen freezing after that ive to restart my computer manually.
I have tried various methods and apparently I found that the Intel driver for the i9 14900KS in Windows 11 Pro (23H2 ver) is not available at this time.
Maybe this is the reason why I can’t open D5 which is based on the real time rendering engine. but with different case i opening up the Sketchup, and rendering with 3DMax Corona they still work properly. Only D5 cannot enter to the main UI after i press new project or even opening the last project. always get stuck at 99% and it will be force close or screen freezing.
or is there another alternative that I can do to get it to work fully using D5 Render?
Here the screenshoot.
