Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with D5 + SketchUp. The cameras of SketchUp and D5 are way off from one another. The D5 camera doesn’t match the camera position I have set up in SketchUp. Please see the attached screenshots:
I have tried moving the 3D model in the SketchUp viewport to the model axes origin, restarting the programs, creating a brand new D5 file but the problem persists.
PC specs if needed: Windows 11, SketchUp Pro 2022, D5 latest version, NVIDIA RTX3090. Would be grateful for any input from the dev. team. Thanks in advance.
Update:
The camera position is not the only thing that’s way off from the SketchUp camera.
It seems the field of view degree also doesn’t match with SketchUp.
SketchUp 30° = D5 Render 48°
SketchUp 45° = D5 Render 69°
SketchUp 60° = D5 Render 88°
Can someone explain what is happening? Thanks in advance.
Hi mate, we cannot reproduce the issue you met, and regarding the FOV issue, it will be improved in 2.4.
Is the problem happen to all files or a specific one? D5 Render does not support photomatch, therefore, you can turn it off then try again. Also, what unit do you use for this skp model?
Hello Oliver, thank you for your reply. Apparently, what I had was some sort of bug. I created a brand new SketchUp file and started D5 from there and the camera position worked correctly.
Thank you for your input!
