Just updated to 2.3 yesterday and have noticed a significant performance hit on my RTX 3070 in our office when using the High preset. Oddly enough in 2.2 it ran smooth as butter on the high preset… Anyone else noticed this?
Super sampling is turned off, LOD is turned on and DLSS is off
Office Specs : i7 10-700F, RTX 3070, 16gb Ram
I will say my system at home has not encounter this issue as of yet.
Home Specs : i7 11-700K, RTX 3090, 64gb Ram

Thank you for posting. The problem happened to all files, or a specific one? And you can turn on this to monitor the FPS and RAM usage:
The second thing is that, your office Specs has only 16 GB RAM, which is not enough to handle large scenes as your home computer does. You can open our demo scene Living room, then check the FPS.
Also, run the benchmark tool then please show me the result.
D5 Render
Hi there, I noticed the same. Running D5 with a 3090 ti and still have some smoothness issues.
I think the problem is the “live link” connection between modelling software (in my case Sketchup) and D5.
Try to close your host modelling software and D5 will run much smother. This issue wasn’t there in 2.2 and I think they will fix it asap. I already reported that. Maybe they also changed something in the way memory is addressed? I don’t know. I had several crashes with d5 since 2.3, never happened before!
I hope Oliver will read this and come up with a solution asap.
Hi, yes, we also identified that it is related to the live sync of SU plugin. Will solve it asap.

Same here. RTX 3070. FPS 3 only. i am struggled to moving around to make my view right.
Also, how do you guys find the DLSS on/off function. seems not showing on this version.
Sounds like a driver problem to me.
Hello, please check whether your video driver is 526.47, if yes, update it to a newer version.
From D5 2.3, we removed the DLSS option, instead, now you can turn it on/off by checking the new option Super Sampling.
If you have other problems, please let us know~
