D5 2.11 | Stuck at Initializing on every file including New Scene

The update was working just fine on my personal computer but when I updated it on my work PC, the scene files I was working on dont load and get stuck at the initializing screen. Same happens with New Scene. Updated GPU after seeing a similar topic but still not working.

Please help.

Hello @doruk @ytneo ,
It is expected that the first launch of D5 after an update may take longer than usual to initialize the scene. Please allow a few minutes for the process to complete.

If the initialization takes more than 5 minutes, please help us troubleshoot by sending the log file.
You can collect the log via the Help section in the bottom-left corner of the Launcher. Once collected, please send us the generated zziplog.zip file.

Also, the initialization time can vary depending on your CPU performance. If you could share your CPU and hardware specs, we can check whether the time you’re seeing is expected.

Hi,

I am having some issues with my D5 render, latest version 2.11. It’s stuck in ‘initializing please wait’.

specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics (16 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
32GB RAM
Windows 10

As I am in my workflow, I can’t upgrade again to collect logs. I saw numerous posts of the exact same issue. I can state that the waiting time was over 5 minutes.

@doruk Thank you for your feedback :yellow_heart:. We’re aware that the first-time initialization in version 2.11 may take slightly longer compared to 2.10. We’re working on optimizing this.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, I have emailed you guys on support@d5techs.com with the log files. the initialising definitely takes more than 5 minutes. for what its worth I never updated D5 to the newest version but this is my first time downloading it and trying it out

Hi @ytneo @doruk

We’re currently investigating the cause of this issue in several users. Can you share the email that you have used so I can immediately pick it up? @ytneo

Additionally, we’re suspecting a file corruption, specifically in this folder:

  • C:/D5 WorkSpace/content/Paks/f2/2020210315000116/1.d5ax

Please send this specific folder to us, and after sending, delete it, then relaunch D5 Render with your files. Let me know the results. Thank you.

Yesterday I reinstalled and upgraded after my shift, waited longer for about 10 mins~. It eventually started loading. After that first initial load finished, the program launches smoothly.
