Custom material direction and scale issue(Rhino)

Hi,

I’ve tried to apply custom texture(fritted glass) from rhino to D5.
The fritted glass texture is created as png file. And I tried few different processes.

  1. (Rhino)surface mapping type : “box” > (D5) Material template : custom alpha )


    In this method, even I put minimum number in stretch, it was impossible to match right scale.

  2. (Rhino)surface mapping type : “surface” > (D5) Material template : custom alpha )


    when I changed mapping type as surface, Although the scale was right, each surfaces has own different ratio.

when I adjusted some mapping types to match the scale and direction in rhino, it was easily became a mess at some point like below.

anyone have similar issues?
(FYI, the glass model’s height is 8600mm, png file size is 8600x8600 pixel)

May I know what you were trying to achieve with this workflow? Perhaps a textured Glass?

Thank you, yes. Fritted glass.
the pattern is still working in process through grasshopper tho
