Cursor re alignment

Hi there D5 Family, I would like to ask some help regarding on how to re adjust form the original cursor location, I have notice that I can’t pick on the right object there is a huge gap to select ang object the alignment of cursor in the picker is okay but the selection is too far from the object, care for help on this matter. your help will be a great learning for me on this software.

Hi Brain

Do you mean if you want to position a lamp exactly over a table, for example.
But I don’t get that with “how to re adjust form the original cursor location” because I’ve never seen “a cursor” in the d5

Can you perhaps describe an example of what you want to do and do not work.

Looking forward to your further description, I didn’t understand it either! :eyes:

There is x,y,z axis when you move an object, when you place your mouse on the axis then you can move the object according to its designated axis. however if I select the x it wont move but if I move the mouse further until it highlighted thats the time I can move the object but It take so much time to find the right spot.

I’m also waiting until the axle colors change a bit.
After that, I press the left mouse button and hold , then I can move.
But, everything within seconds, also does not have to look for the right spot,
it reacts immediately wherever I stop.

Also reacts to other commands, so slowly for example “Material Picker” etc.

Sorry, I’m not an IT expert, just an architect. Then maybe you should write to mr. whao or oliver.

Hello @brian ,
I got it! You need the auto-snap alignment feature!
We are sorting out the content of this aspect, and will gradually complete these optimizations in future versions! Of course, we will continue to optimize the user experience of D5!
Stay tuned!
