Could you please provide a full screenshot of your GPU?
From your description, it sounds like your crash may be related to recent AMD driver compatibility. The newest AMD driver version has been known to cause loading failures, crashes, and screen freezes in D5 Render 2.11.
The most reliable workaround is to roll back your AMD driver to the previous stable version. After doing this, your projects in D5 2.11 should open normally.
