That seem to be the denoiser, it may also be a corrupt texture file causing this effect, is difficult to tell at so low resolution, are those curtains or timber slats painted in white?
When you say at any resolution have you test it at 4K?
If so can you upload a snip of that affected area only?

Hello, this problem is related to the anti-aliasing of D5. Please turn off auto-exposure, then adjust the lighting first (this room may lack lighting after turning off auto-exposure). Also, please try rendering higher resolution (8k).
