I asked previously here about getting 2D faceme components to work (ie to rotate to face camera) within D5, and was told I needed to re-create them within D5 by modifying existing 2D People assets. I have been experimenting with this today. It works but strangely every time I do it, the modified asset rotates slightly after changing the base color map, so it is not facing the camera head on any more. It retains this angle as the camera is moved. You can see it in the two screenshots attached. The tree on the left was imported from Sketchup. On the right is the modified D5 asset; the tree is noticeably narrower in proportion. Selecting it so the gizmo is visible shows the rotated aspect.
I can’t see any way to correct it? I’ve tried using a few different 2D people as the base asset, but get the same result each time.
