every time I start the video rendering process, my d5 always crashes like force close and worst freeze which I have to force shut down my laptop. I have tried to anticipate by hiding the model or light etc. that are not visible in the video scene that I want to render but it still crashes. What solution should I do?
Hi there. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Does this problem occur in all other files? Or is it file-specific? Please provide the following information:
-
Memory Speed
-
System Information
-
VRAM
Thank you.
Do you use rendering queue? If yes, try to make one render directly without render queue. That save me from crashing.
yeah i’ve tried it, for some scenes it works but for the rest it always crashes
I think I already know the cause, I’m using assets from d5 scene express 90, I took the city model around it which I think is what makes my d5 file heavy, fyi in my file there are more than 1.3 billion faces, but now I can’t open the file again, how do I delete the asset file without opening d5? is it possible?
Hi, thank you for providing these images. Your memory speed seems to exceed 4000 Mhz or 4000 Mt/s; anything higher than that would make the software unstable. If you are able to make changes, You can change this in your XMP or BIOS. If you are unfamiliar with the process, you can check out these links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-MLhGMtheM

- As for the deletion of assets without opening, you can delete the pak files which will then make the assets you have inserted in your model reload. Please note that the assets deleted are from D5 Asset Library. To proceed, you may locate this folder and delete the f2 folder
Let me know if this suggestion helps. Thank you.
