CPU spiking to 100% upon opening D5 Renderer

Hi i’m new here, recently i saw a lot of buzz of D5 render and i see the results are amazing but upon downloading and opening the program my CPU skyrocket to 100% which tend crashes my PC.

my specs are as follows:
Windows 10 Pro 22H2
AMD Ryzen 5 5600
AMD Radeon RX 6600
16 Gb RAM

I apologize for the inconvenience. Just to clarify, its your CPU that was observed to have a 100% Usage instead of your GPU? If that’s the situation, then chances are your device might be utilizing your integrated GPU instead of your Dedicated GPU, which should be the other way around since D5 Render is GPU-intensive.

  • Does the crash occur only with a specific file? How about an empty or demo scene file?
