Correction for 'place a scatter in some areas of a multi-layer model'

When I realized that it was impossible to scatter by material on overlapping planes, my project started to seem very long to complete.

In fact, my building has a lot of greenery.

So, I used the default foliage scatter tool, but there is no slider to control the size, rotation, etc.
With this scatter tool, I also can’t remove foliage by zone. How can I do this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you send us a screenshot of this “Default Foliage Scatter Tool” that you are currently using? I await for your reply, thank you.

Hi there,

When using the Scatter tool found in the Foliage Icon, certain parameters and customization are quite limited compared to the Add Scatter option.

Given that these parameters are what you’re looking for, it would be best to use this method. Additionally, you may need to set or assign different materials to these surfaces to enable the scatter considering that it is being stacked vertically (known-issue).

Ok, do you think this issue could disappear in the next update? Best regards

Hi there,

Information regarding the contents of the next update is still changing. We can not really tell if this will be supported in the next update. :disappointed_relieved:

Thank you for your understanding.
