ubject: Compatibility Inquiry for D5 Render on Minisforum Neptune HX99G

Hello,

I’m planning to purchase the Minisforum Neptune HX99G mini PC, and I’d like to check its compatibility with D5 Render. Here are the key specifications of the PC:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600M (8GB GDDR6)
  • RAM: Up to 64GB DDR5
  • Storage: NVMe SSD

Since D5 Render is optimized for NVIDIA RTX GPUs, I’m concerned about whether it will run properly on this system. Will I be able to use D5 Render smoothly with this hardware, even without RTX support?

Several users have contributed in our User Self Test Benchmark information that are using AMD Radeos RX 6600 M (8 GB), You can check it in this link: https://benchmark.d5render.com/result

It is indeed compatible with D5 Render, but as you have sai,d D5 Render works better with NVIDIA RTX GPUs, if you have other choices that utilize an RTX GPU , then that might be a better option.

There are plenty of areas where the choice isn’t easy.
But when it comes to GPUs, it’s Nvidia and nothing else, and that’s especially true for PRO use.
