Colors of transparent elements

Hi everyone,
I have a transparent material with a gradient color on a hanging element, which is built in Sketchup as a single face.
When viewing it through thick glass (double-sided), it appears black.
What is happening here?
I am attaching the parameters of the hanging element and the glass through which we are viewing them.
