City Satellite Map disappears when moving project to laptop

I made the city on my main computer. It was working fine, downloaded everything. I copied the project to the laptop to work on the go, and now it is not showing the Satellite. A red block of white text appears on the top right, saying “Resource pack download failed”. What can I do?

Appreciate the guideline.

Thanks.

Hi @Raivata

Sorry for the inconvenience. To help us narrow this down, could you please check and confirm the following:

  1. Are you logged into the same D5 account on both the main computer and the laptop?
  2. Is the laptop connected to a stable, unrestricted network (no proxy, VPN, or corporate firewall)?
  3. Does the issue occur with all Cesium/Satellite data, or only with this specific project?
  4. Did you copy only the project file, or also the D5 workspace/cache folder?
  5. Does the message appear immediately when opening the project, or only when the satellite data tries to load?

If possible, please also provide a screenshot or short screen recording of your workflow, showing the error message on the laptop. Thank you, and I look forward to your update.

Thanks so much for the help!

I finally tracked down the problem—it was a simple case of the ‘D5 Workspace’ folder being mapped to the wrong location. Once I moved it from my external drive to my local drive, all the issues cleared up.

I love D5 Render and really appreciate how the team actually listens to what the community asks for. Not every company does that, and it makes a huge difference!

All the best,

Raivata Das
