Can't use D5 from bonded device

I applied for my edu lisence from this PC but cannot log in after receiving the lisence directly in the softwhere it says i should log in on my bound device. I suspect it might be because of vpn i might have been using when applying. I need this resolved ASAP, please help me, thannk you.

I would like to clarify that our Educational license operates as a “fixed-seat” license, as indicated on our official website. This means that:

  • Your educational account is restricted to a specific computer, and switching devices is not allowed.
  • Removal or replacement of hardware, such as an HDD or SSD, or even formatting your device, will result in this error prompt.
  • Even a Windows update can trigger this error prompt, so it’s best to avoid it during the span of your educational license.

However, users can unbind devices on their own through MySpace. After unbinding, the account will automatically revert to the Community version, and users will need to reapply through the client. Please be aware that unbinding is permitted only once per calendar year, so please proceed with caution.

Hi, thank you so much for your help! I will unbind and reapply, but I am sure I applied from the same device. Hopefully this issue doesn’t rise again.
