it is the first time I try to use the camera templates (movements). It doesn’t work as I imagined. Unfortunately I can’t find any useful tutorials about it. Maybe someone here can help me.
“Spiral pan” has a great feature called “Lock on target”. But how can I choose my target? It doesn’t work.
By the way, if it works, every template should get the “lock on target” function.
Why can’t I switch to the top view when editing the path? It would make the job so much easier.
Hello. Regarding the Spiral pan template, it has a small target point, and with the lock on target option turned on, the camera will follow this target point as it moves upwards. This target point can be adjusted with a lever. If this option is not turned on, the camera’s line of sight stays horizontal.
Regarding the view when editing paths, we’re keeping the free view for now, which will probably make it easier to adjust. If you want to switch to the top view, you can adjust to a similar view position on your own.
Lock on a specific object (similar to “set focus” in DOF) would be a helpful option in every camera movement template.
I don’t understand why locking other views should make editing easier. It would be better if the choice of view were free. If I want to move the camera at the same height in the room, “top view” would be easier for me than in perspective.
