How can i replace the plants i have brushed with different plants in the library? it doesent give me an option only to draw again or delete or hide. how can i do this? i click on it and shows me brush history.
Hello. It is not currently supported to replace brush drawn plants with other plants from the library.
For the detailed feature of brush tool, you can refer to this post.
Brush and Scatter | User Manual (d5render.com)
If the plant is placed separately, then you can replace it.
You can also use the path tool to draw plants that can be directly replaced with other plants from the library.
Being able to edit brushed plants would be fantastic. I find myself guessing the original set up of plants/height/randomness etc, then if it doesn’t look right you can’t do a simple select group to edit function, you can’t even do Ctrl+Z to undo, instead you have to use the erase tool which is a bit annoying to be honest.
Thanks for your advice. I will convey your idea to our team.
I also suggest that you can try our new added D5 scatter, this feature has more parameters that can be adjusted and allowed to be re-edit. D5 Scatter Tutorial | How to use this procedural landscape scatter tool? (youtube.com)
thank you, seems like a simple one, it would be good if you could actually pick it up on the next update?
Hi! We have already added this feature in version 2.7, you can update to the latest version and then use it.
i have updated to 2.71 but i dont think it has been updated. it doesent give me the option.
I was referring to the d5 scatter feature we added in 2.7, which can be secondary edited.
